TRINET ENTERTAINMENT, Inc. has started as BIZ INTERNATIONAL Inc., a subsidiary of TOSHIBA ENTERTAINMENT Inc. in 1991.
It worked as a licensing agency for TOSHIBA, managing licensed production rights for movies/animations/visual contents/characters which TOSHIBA ENTERTAIMENT owned.
On February 25th, 2004, BIZ INTERNATIONAL changed its name to TRINET ENTERTAINMENT, Inc., followed by the acquisition of management right by NIPPON SHUPPAN HUNBAI, Inc (NIPPAN), when TRINET requested NIPPAN financing. By this acquisition, TRINET decided to launch on an animation production division.
In licensing, TRINET decided farther development of existing licensed properties, as well as expanding its business in the international market. |

As a Licensing Agency, we have been working with various properties such as Raymond Briggs' "Father Christmas", movie/TV series "Twin Peaks" and animation series "Heidi".
Licensing of "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" and other stories by Eric Carle has sprouted one of the most successful video series for children in Japan.
Trinet Entertainment continue expanding the licensing as of today, to introduce various of properties with well established background and cultural importance. |
